The apartment

A just-refurbished 1-bedroom duplex on the 4th floor of the Skol A block — open-plan, top-quality finish, west-facing for the afternoon sun. Two single beds in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge — sleeps 4. Bathroom with a proper bath (not just a shower) and a separate toilet — rare across the building, and you notice it on a longer stay.

There's a fireplace too. Marbella winters are mild and sunny, but evenings can dip — the fireplace earns its keep in January.

Open-plan kitchen with coffee machine, oven, microwave and fridge. Air conditioning and heating, super-fast fibre WiFi. Large west-facing terrace with sea, pool and tropical-garden views — built for al fresco lunches, sundown beers, or working with the Mediterranean in front of you.

Three pools set in the tropical gardens — a shallow kids' pool (40cm), a 140cm pool for playing, and a 2m pool for proper swimming. Sun loungers €3 per day.

The location

Avenida Arias Maldonado 16 — the heart of central Marbella, right on the Paseo Marítimo promenade.

Step out and you're on Fontanilla beach. Marbella Old Town is a 10-minute walk. Puerto Banús is 6km — walkable along the seafront, by bus or by boat. Family-run tapas bars, chiringuitos and supermarkets all at your doorstep. No car needed.
